Protective clothing.
Performance requirements and tests methods for protective clothing against infective agents

This document details the requirements and test methods for reusable and limited-use protective clothing providing protection against infectious agents.

Models that comply with this standard shall be marked with the suffix ‘-B’ after the type of protective clothing, for example Type 5-B (standard EN ISO 13982-1).

Garments worn by surgical teams or surgical drapes covering patients to prevent cross-contamination during surgical procedures are not covered by the scope of this standard.
